What affects an Airbnb turnover cleaning quote in Cape Town?
An Airbnb turnover cleaning quote in Cape Town depends on the size of the unit, the number of beds to make, how linen and laundry are handled, whether consumables are restocked, how tight the gap is between check-out and check-in, and how many units you have. Hosts with several units, or management companies, are quoted on a schedule rather than one clean at a time.
1. Size and beds
Bedrooms and bathrooms set the base, but beds made is the number that matters most in a turnover. A studio with one queen bed is very different from a three-bedroom unit sleeping eight.
2. Linen and laundry
Who supplies and washes the linen changes the job:
- You use a linen service — we make the beds with what's delivered
- Spare linen is kept on site — we strip, remake and bag the used set
- You need laundry handled end to end — ask for it in your quote
3. Restocking
Coffee, toiletries, toilet paper and dishwasher tablets supplied by you are restocked on every turnover. If you want stock checks reported, say so.
4. The turnover window
Same-day check-out and check-in leaves a fixed window. Tight windows in peak season — December and January — need to be planned around your booking calendar.
5. Location and access
Buildings in the City Bowl and on the Atlantic Seaboard often have parking and access rules; Big Bay and Blouberg units have sand and salt to deal with; Stellenbosch cottages may sit inside estates with gate procedures. Tell us early.
6. Damage reporting
Every turnover should end with photos of anything broken, stained or missing — platforms have time limits on claims. We include this as standard.
Portfolio hosts and managers
If you manage several units, we can quote a schedule for the portfolio, with consistent presentation across every listing.
